Contact women Senators and Representatives; today, there are a more female members of Congress than in the history of the country. There are 16 women in the Senate, and 74 in the House of Representatives.

Contact candidates running for office.
Contact candidates running for office. If they have a proposed health care plan, ask if coverage is universal, covering the middle class as well as the uninsured. Ask how they will pay for the costs of the plan and what type of coverage and what benefits it offers women and children specifically.

Make it known that you will support a comprehensive health care plan for women and children and not a candidate or a party.
